New Toy

Finally purchased a tablet. I went with the Lenovo X41 for a lot of reasons and after a day of playing with it, I really like it. I wanted a lightweight tablet so I could use it while sitting on the sofa and take it with me to meetings and seminars. I also wanted great battery life. Ideally a convertible that met these requirements would be nice, that way I don't have to carry a USB keyboard around too. The X41 is the only tablet that I found to meet these requirements and it does so very nicely. The keyboard is just right for a notebook, the stylus works well for a tablet (with selection and erase buttons), and the 8 cell battery has a nice rubber grip on the side for sofa reading. It also has a fingerprint reader, bluetooth and 802.11a/b/g. I'll post more after I've used it a bit longer.
